What Therapy with me is like
I approach my work with individuals using a holistic, strengths-based lens, along with curiosity, reflective listening, and validation. I want you to feel deeply heard and understood in the therapy process.
My approach to working with individuals and couples is multidimensional and may include outside referrals to medical doctors, readings and videos, and homework to be practiced at home. I use a biopsychosocial approach: doing a thorough assessment of a person's family/relationship history, past and current medical issues, emotional health, and current relationship dynamics.

I am authentic, genuine, and real with my clients. When appropriate and helpful, I share examples from my own life and journey with my clients to help you better navigate your own. I love incorporating humor in our sessions—laughter can be healing! I’m a firm believer that therapy doesn’t have to be a stuffy, scary, robotic conversation.

In our sessions, we’ll work together and be co-creators of your therapy experience. I work with you, support you, and collaborate with you every step of the way so you can get the most out of your time in therapy.

More about my approach
I also use Imago-based psychoeducation with individuals to help you better understand how your attachment styles and life experiences have shaped the person you are today, become more aware of your defenses and adaptations, have a clearer understanding of recurring themes, and navigate your relationships and life stressors more effectively.
I’ll teach you Imago Relationship Therapy techniques to be able to have more successful and connected relationships in your life—whether that is friendships, family relationships, relationships with your children, or romantic relationships.
I find that when people feel connected and safe in their relationships, they have more emotional energy and capacity to cope with life's other stressors like work, finances, and family.
